A Challenging Demolition Project
WYE VALLEY Demolition often undertakes interesting jobs. One such example was the dismantling of a tusk and sail piece of artwork in Bristol’s Haymarket shopping district this month. This project, which lasted over four nights, presented several demolition challenges. We had to work at height, manage cranes, and conduct hot works.
The space was very limited. Traffic management also required careful planning, especially since it was a city centre location.
Working alongside main contractor Alun Griffiths and Bristol City Council, our team produced another successful outcome. Demolition was completed safely and within the timeframe. This is no small feat when working overnight. Well done to the boys on site and to all those involved!
